Volkswagen has unveiled its latest concept car, the ID. 2all, which promises to provide all-electric mobility at an affordable price. With a range of up to 450 km, the ID. 2all will cost less than 25,000 euros, making it accessible to a wider audience. The production version of the ID. 2all is expected to be presented for the European market in 2025.
ID. 2all
The ID. 2all showcases Volkswagen’s new design language and features premium innovations such as Travel Assist, IQ.LIGHT, and Electric Vehicle Route Planner. It is based on the new MEB Entry platform, which offers efficient drive, battery, and charging technology. The ID. 2all is also the first MEB vehicle with front-wheel drive.
According to Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, the company is “transforming the company rapidly and fundamentally – with the clear objective of making Volkswagen a genuine Love Brand.” He added that the ID. 2all shows where the company wants to take the brand, “close to the customer and offer top technology in combination with fantastic design.”

The ID. 2all’s exterior design features a friendly face, a clear and powerful stance on the wheels, and a new C-pillar signature. The interior is spacious, with a generous storage volume of 490–1,330 litres, and has a high-quality appearance with a self-explanatory infotainment system and classic volume control.
Imelda Labbé, Member of the Brand Board of Management responsible for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, stated that the ID. 2all showcases Volkswagen’s typical virtues in the new world of mobility, including top quality, workmanship, outstanding software, and digital services with genuine added value.
Electric Volkswagens
Volkswagen is accelerating its electric offensive with ten new electric models to be launched by 2026. This includes the new ID.3, the ID. Buzz with long wheelbase, the ID.7, and a compact electric SUV in 2026. Despite the challenges, Volkswagen is also working on an electric car priced below 20,000 euros. The company aims to achieve an electric car share of 80% in Europe, the widest range of electric vehicles compared with its competitors.

With the ID. 2all, Volkswagen is offering an affordable and practical electric car with premium features, showcasing the company’s commitment to providing sustainable mobility for all.
